This website offers you lot of information on how to be successful while using Internet as a medium of communication. However, one must understand that there is no surefire way of success. What worked for me, may not work out for you.

One must be careful not to get carried away by promises and figures that appear on many homepages. Personally, I feel it is not correct to show your earnings. But of course, this is my personal opinion.

After reading more than 50 books (ebook, reports, websites etc) I feel that you need the same things that you would need to run a real world brick and mortar business. 

A quick revision would be good for both of us, but I will do it the reverse way:

  1. You need customers. This is the last stage when they buy from you.

  2. Before this stage, they are prospects. Prospects fall in two categories. Hot and cold depending on the time they show for spending the money to buy your product or service.

  3. You get prospects from leads. 

  4. Leads also vary. Depending on the source and the freshness of information, you can label them as fresh, stale, used etc. 

  5. A system that produces good quality leads for your specific job, website, business or service.

This is the most important thing that you have read today. Congratulations! If you want to take a day off, you may. If not, you may continue reading.

I feel, once you have lead, you can adopt a specific method that suites you to covert it from stage 4 to 1 as mentioned above. When it comes to system, one can be very specific. I will limit my ideas to present you a birds eye view (helicopter view as Americans say) and you may choose a niche area to work in and market your product and services.
